Aeroflot Russian Airlines JSC (RTS: AFLT) is Russia’s national airline and is based in
Moscow at the Sheremetyevo Airport. In 2006 Aeroflot became the first Russian airline to join a global
airline alliance when it became a member of SkyTeam. The airline provides its customers with access to SkyTeam’s extensive network which now includes 791 destinations in 162 countries. Passengers also
enjoy frequent flyer benefits, redeemable on any SkyTeam flight. Established in 1923, the Russian
aviation industry and in 1994 its commercial airline, Aeroflot is one of the oldest airline companies in
the world. It was founded by the decree of the Soviet government. In 1993, airline was registered as
open joint-stock company and preserved legal rights for the trademark “Aeroflot” which is one of the
best known Russian brands in the world.

Aeroflots serves more than 108 destinations in over 54 counties throughout the world. With
dedicated services and frequent aeroflot departure times, the airline has proven itself as a leader in air
travel. Aeroflot makes its system of routes aiming at business passengers. This means direct flights, high frequency of flights (no less than 5-7 times a week for a route), and convenient schedule for business passengers. Also it has developed cooperation with Russian and foreign airline companies (Code-Sharing, Interline) to raise a number of directions and frequency of flights for passenger's convenience. Flights to 31 foreign destinations are carried out as joint operation flights in accordance with code sharing agreements with 24 foreign airlines – “Aeroflot” partners. The flights to a number of foreign and domestic destinations will be carried out on the planes of the subsidiary airlines – “Aeroflot –Don” and “Aeroflot-Nord”. In India, the airline flies from Delhi and Bombay to major destinations in Europe & USA.
